A HAPPY EASTER

After the egg and basket hunting was finished, we all cleaned up and got ready for brunch at Grammy's. Grammy made a delicious brunch including the kids favorites - french toast and hot ham :)

Logan multi-tasking...eating and playing with the cool color changing cars that the Easter Bunny left at Grammy's.
Once we got back home, the girls opened their new DS games the Easter Bunny left them at Grammy's.
Later in the day, we went to Uncle Jerry's for dinner.
We never pass up the chance to take a family picture!
Our family is growing up too fast!

Since Becky and Melissa were home from Oshkosh, my brother Bill's family also got to pose for a family picture. Bill and Cheryl are showing off their spring break tans from their trip to Florida!

EASTER HUNTIN' WE WILL GO!

We got notes from the bunny saying each of the kids had 12 eggs hidden somewhere!
Caitlin found hers in a decoration on the wall. Logan was excited to find one on the window in the living room.
Logan was being very helpful when he told Shannon where she could find one of her eggs ;)
The Easter Bunny made some very smart choices when he hid baskets this year. He knew our little Hercules shouldn't have candy so he hid the baskets out of "puppy reach".

Logan found his behind the bathroom door in the bathtub! The Easter Bunny is soooo smart! Logan was hoping he'd get a real batting helmet. Not only did he get one but in his favorite color - red!!! Caitlin found her goodies hidden in the towel closet in the little bathroom.
This dog she can "unlock" on her DS game!Shannon looked in the hall closet a few times but never looked up! The tricky bunny put her treats high up on the closet shelf :)

EGGstravaganza

We continued our Good Friday tradition of coloring Easter eggs.
We had lots of colors to choose from this year and dyed eggs for
Grammy and Uncle too so there was lots to do!Logan's egg is set to go and so is Logan now that he is feeling 100%.
Caitlin waiting patiently for her egg even though she was feeling poorly.
She had just returned from another trip to the doctor this time with a sinus infection.
For a little girl who has never been sick, this has been a tough winter/spring for Cait.
Shannon takes out her yellow egg despite a jammed finger which she got
playing basketball in phy ed.
We're hoping Spring arrives in full force this coming week so we can
all finally get healthy again. This winter was quite a challenge for all of us :)
