ATHLETICISM

Logan seems to have gotten Chris' "athletic gene". He is awesome at baseball but this fall decided to try soccer with his classmates. He has been watching his sisters play soccer since the day he was born and has been practicing with them in the backyard pretty much since the day he could walk! Needless to say, he is a bit further along then some of the other K4 students. He's got a pretty powerful kick already :)
(maybe a kicking scholarship in the future...let's be real...any kind of scholarship would be great!)

The great thing about K4 soccer is they play 4:4 or 3:3 if teams don't have enough kids. This really gives the little ones a chance to learn the game. Logan's team played 4 games this
fall and his team won all 4!

Logan has learned to dribble the ball quickly down field but he also passes to open team mates!

He isn't afraid to shoot the ball himself though. His last game he scored 5 of his team's 9 goals :)

The coaches serve as officials for the K4 games. The girl in the background (green gloves) was a first or second grader the last time I saw her! I taught her brother, Titus, when I worked at St. Augustine. Now she is a senior in high school and volunteers to coach the K4 team from STAA!
